Dolls Point is Sydney's leading Kite Sailing locale. It offers open expanses of flat water with runs from those close to the beach and breakwalls, through to the river, or out to sea for kilometers. There's also handy bouys and landmarks making for recongisable turning points.

Normally still in the mornings, Dolls Point has good conditions in most afternoons. In the summer months the NE seabreeze will be gusting picking up speed coming across the water. In winter the SW wind blows consistently.
